Greetings to all former WSCB-Track Day participants and those wanting to join us for 2009! We are very pleased to announce this year’s "Cobra Roundup" event at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, California. We had one heck of a time at the 2008 Track Day, and as promised we have been working hard to bring Track Day back for 2009. If you thought ’08 was fun, grab your snake and get ready for a whole lot more!

July 2, 2009: Cobra Roundup “Track Day”
Cobra Roundup ’09 is primarily geared to the novice driver with the desire to experience the thrill of driving on the track. Intermediate & advanced drivers are of course welcome too. We will be running the full course and using the “bypass” at turn-5. We are offering the same run groups as last year: Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and the very popular Women’s group.

Driving instruction will be provided by the same group of outlaws, with Karen Salvaggio and Eric Wheaton as your group leaders. We are also very fortunate to once again have members from the River City Shelby Club as your on-track instructor drivers.

Recently resurfaced with lots of runoff area, Thunderhill Raceway is a challenging and fun track to drive! The paddock is paved with plenty of parking and large shaded pit areas. Fuel, food & drink with covered eating area, nice bathrooms, and large meeting rooms that overlook the front straightaway are just a few of the amenities. July 3, 2009: Mini-Nat’s Festivities
Cobra Roundup is pleased to be joining the Friday Mini Nats festivities, hosted by Northern California SAAC, which includes police escorted drive (all Cobras & race cars) from the track and through the town of Willows, and will end with a car show at the park, a BBQ hosted by the Willows Fire Department, 60’s music, and more.
